Stainless Steel vs. Galvanized Steel: Why the Switch?

Read the full transcript:

Hi, everybody. Rocco DeLuca, Detectable Warning Products, back with our April 2024 update. Just two quick bullets this month.

One, I know this is not on every project, but we've been seeing it more and more - stainless steel detectable warning panels. We've carried them since we opened back in 2002. But the last few years we've made a move from stainless steel to galvanized steel, and we carry them in both ten gauge and 16 gauge. They're a much stronger panel. They have a super low profile on the surface applied and a great application on the wet set, and they're a lower price point for a stronger product.

And on every situation that we've had when customers have called in for stainless steel and submitted this as a substitute, it's been approved. So, if you have any questions on that, reach out to me.

Also, we just finished our January, February, March free giveaway on all orders over $1,000 of safety goggles. It was a huge success!

We were blessed to give tons of them away. And it ended up with customers calling us back and asking them to buy them, on a continuing basis.

So, I've loaded a bunch of options of those on the website already, and we're going to be loading a lot more options through the month of April.

So, if you have any questions on the stainless steel / galvanized steel issue or on the new safety goggles that we're carrying, please reach out to me.

You can go on the website DWPNow.com or you can email me Rocco@dwpnow.com, or you can call or text me directly at (401) 473- 5584. I hope you have an awesome April and I'll talk to you again in May.

And remember on time, every time, at the lowest cost. That's the DWP guarantee.

Thank you.
