Detectable Warning Panel Orders Are Picking Up Fast | Order Early to Avoid Delays

Hi, this is Rocco DeLuca, owner and operator of DWP, here with an important May 2026 industry update.

Following one of the harshest winters, that we've seen in many years, so many areas across the Northeast, including Massachusetts, my home state of Rhode Island, New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, parts of Maine, even further south than that, experienced significant snowfalls and severe weather conditions that impacted roads and sidewalks, which affect our work and a lot of public infrastructure. But because of this, many projects were postponed. And now as we move into the spring construction season, we're seeing increased demand for construction materials like we've never seen before.

As of like a month ago, we were 61% down year to date over last year. And in the last 3 weeks alone, that's come up close to 54% recovery, which means high demand for detectable warning panels along with orders being labeled as ASAP, like every order.

So, with all that said, it makes it even more important to plan ahead and to secure materials now to avoid project delays and potentially supply chain challenges during unique construction seasons like this.
